Zen Garden

In some down time we had the option to create our own personal projects, in my case I wanted to practice modular building sets, lighting and just improving my art overall. Also a small amount of blueprint editing.  This was also a good chance to try out more water shaders and dabble more in unreal engines particle editor. The scene was made in approximately 3 weeks start until end, it included basic re-skinned VR hand controls and physics. I wouldn't say its finished yet. There is still a lot to learn and a lot of improvements that could be made. Most of the objects were purely made with Maya and Substance painter, there was no sculpting involved with this project. The trees were created with a mixture of Maya and Speedtree.

Inspired by traditional japanese zen gardens and homes with the peace and tranquillity they offer.
